Toby Wosskow is a British-born, Los Angeles-based writer and director.
He blends cinematic, narrative techniques with a sense of documentary realism to tell raw, human stories. His highly acclaimed 2019 short film, Sides of a Horn, was featured in The New York Times and is in consideration for the 92nd OSCARS®.
Toby has directed commercials and branded content for the likes of BMW, United Nations, Fujifilm, Oakley, Foot Locker, Real Madrid, and over 10 spots for Nike. Having worked with a variety of athletes, influencers, and musicians, he has developed an ability to pull strong performances out of both actors and non-actors. Recently, Toby’s “Nike x House of Hoops” commercial was broadcast nationally on TNT during the NBA All Star event, and his music video for Marshmello was in the top 4 trending YouTube videos in the world.
