Miles Joris-Peyrafitte

New York, NY

In 2016, Miles Joris-Peyrafitte became one of the youngest winners at the Sundance Film Festival when his feature film As You Are won the Dramatic Special Jury Award.

The film’s stars, Charlie Heaton and Amandla Stenberg, went on to star in Stranger Things and Hunger Games respectively. Shortly after, Miles directed Dream Land, a feature film starring Margo Robbie, that recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

In addition to feature film work, Miles directs commercials and documentary films. His recent award-winning docu-short entitled Brujas tells the story of young, female skateboarders breaking down societal norms in New York City. Today, Miles is writing his new feature film, The Hunter and the Fox, with Annapurna Pictures and developing docu-shorts with real-life characters.
